don't miss this other option: http://www.mobilelinktech.com/shop/snaptype/keyboard_nr.php

it works with direct irda connection (like the pocketop), no need for the reflector (despite the photo). and so far it has the best driver support i've seen.

@eyckenstein
Unfortunately the pocketop part is little bit late compared to the thinkoutside part simply because I only have a thinkoutside for the moment...

I still hope to receive a sample from the manufacturer so I could put it at the same level.

Hi,

I really liked the snapntype keyboard and like the fact that they have worldwide shipping for ppl lik eme staying in India.

Before i take the plunge n get me of these babies, can someone who has used this type of thing with the P900 tell me that if it is possible to use the keyboard to type in applications like instant messengers like IM+ or JMsn or TipicMe and even write posts in forums??

Stupid question i guess....but thats me. Lookin for the answer.

Cheers,
Doc.

Yes they work in all apps that I've tried (certainly all apps that accept the regular uiq input methods). As for eDoom it wont work atm, since all other apps (including the keyboard driver) are closed when launching it. Perhaps this could be avoided if the keyboard app could be flagged as a system app?

WOW... I love this driver. I have bought the keyboard (expensive in Indonesia, USD 90) and tried to use it. I really don't need bringing my laptop around anymore. It's very useful to write e-mail, QuickWord, and Jotter.
Thanks Guys.
