Here in lebanon we do have 2 GSM networks both very expensive! They're : LibanCell and Cellis (FTML).

In Switzerland we have 3: orange,swisscom(partly owned by state and Vodafone),sunrise. Another one will come with 3g:telefonica.

Digifone (soon to be O2)
Meteor, only here about a year or a year and a half, poor coverage at the moment, but at least they are good value. The top 2 charge too much. |

Three operators in Sweden currently, a forth license is being processed (don't know who will get it)

if PTS (the Swedish organisation that handles frequencies in Sweden) approves on SweFour's application for the fourth GSM frequency in Sweden they'll get it... cause they are the only one who have sent in an application

Right. Bt cellnet, genie, sainsburys one, (virtual on bt) , t mobile, virgin, fresh and value telecom (virtual on t mobile), orange and vodafone. I think theres more as well. Voda and cellnet are gsm 900 and 1800, and orange and t mobile are 1800

My my this is really an old thread.btw i am from india and the major operators here are AIRTEL,HUTCH/ORANGE, IDEA ,BPL, AIRCEL, ESCOTEL, RELIANCE(CDMA), TATA INDICOM(CDMA) BSNL(GOVERNMENT OWNED). Quite a few of them aint it !
