In Thailand we've 4 GSM from 3 big firms:
-GSMadvanced
-GSM1800
-DTAC
-Orange
GSMAdvanced and GSM1800 are from the same company called AIS. And we also have CDMA and so on...
In the upcoming June the government is going to launch its own GSM1900 called ThaiMobile.

4 in israel: orange, cellcom, pelephone, and amigo
orange is the only GSM (900) for now, but cellcom is starting with its GSM network (1800) soon; otherwise, cellcom = TDMA, pelephone = CDMA + analog, and amigo = iDEN |

Sweden....
Telia Mobile
Tele2/Comviq
Vodafone (formerly Europolitan)
then there is a bunch of virtual operators... they buy network capacity from Telia, Tele2 and Vodafone... if you count them as well you can add at least 6-7 operators more to the list above |

Here in Azerbaijan we have 2 providers:
Azercell
Bakcell
The first one, Azercell, is bigger and has more subscribers. Though, we might have a new operator coming up at end of the year. |
