sonyericsson P800 supports i-mode if I'm not wrong.
KPN has introduced I-mode,
But other operators (Ben, Dutchtone) will follow with something similar.
I-mode is too expensive and Nec phones suck. 2 hour batterylife if you use I-mode.

P800 doesn't support I-Mode.....
however.... Xpedio has developed a software for WAP gateways that can convert I-Mode pages to WAP pages... so if the network operator installs this software, called Quasimode, you can view I-Mode pages with a T68... other phones can ofcourse as well use this feature...

as far as i know, the p800 can display html, so why not i-mode which is a subset of HTML? |

maybe, maybe not... it will probably work on some pages... but then there are some cHTML (compact HTML which the codelanguage is called) specific tags that probably can't be read by the browser.... |

I saw in Germany 2 weeks ago I-Mode being advertised, available on the E-Plus network.
