i was wondering if the t68/t86i can be used for i-mode??? If not what is the difference between i-mode gsm telephones and the t68

no, T68 doesn't support I-Mode... I-Mode uses different access methods than ordinary GSM phones with WAP

possible? in a way... not the real I-Mode though... will do it? probably not... as of today I-Mode has not gotten a very well spreading outside Japan, tests with I-Mode has been made in Europe, and several companies have said that they wants to launch I-Mode in Europe... but I doubt it will take any bigger market share... when GPRS was introduced, WAP became a strong competitor to I-Mode...

ok.....i'am not very technical.... so that says nothing to me....but does anywone know if sonyericsson has a i-mode gsm? I love my t68, but i'am also interested in i-mode......

a provider (KPN) in holland has recently introduced i-mode.......
there is a big media introduction and they bring i like it's the hottest thing on earth.....but the NEC gsm that they offer is not very nice.....big and ugly......

agree with you... haven't seen any I-Mode phone that really have a nice design.... they are all quite big.....
