No offence, but I think you must realisticaly expect an online forum of mobile phone geeks (oh stop moaning people face up to facts we are all geeks, but stylish geeks) to be somewhat critical of mobile phone shops and their ever comical staff.
Personally I have always bought from the CPW because I think their customer service is MARGINALLY better than other retailers, though I did purchase my fiance's phone from an Orange Shop.
The main problem I find is that the staff's product knowledge is next to nothing when it comes to new technology.

Best not work in a "MOBILE" phone shop, that just means waking up each morning with no idea where you will be working that day

If it's just for a part-time job as a student or something, or you want to go into retail, I can't recommend it enough. Providing you go to a good place, you can get awesome rates of pay.
It also beats the hell out of large electrical shops like currys/comet etc.
If however, it's a career option, you may want to aim for bigger fish. |
