Still, the display of the Nokia is only 128x128; T610 has a 160x128 display, also the Nokia does not support Themes, and it will be available to the end of the year, which makes it 8 months newer than the T610. Not so great if you think about it.

But we should be comparing it to the T630. They will both come out at the same time, and there is no doubt that the Nokia is better. Was going to get myself a Moto V600 but i now think i'll get this Nokia instead. It is a shame though, i've been with Ericsson for about 4 years, but since the SE relationship they've lost a lot. They're turning into the old Nokia. |

nokia wins this round against sony ericsson by presenting such a full-featured phone in this size. that's unquestionable.
usually "presenting" a phone doesn't give you a clue of when the phone is going to be actually sold in stores. this one is said to be out before christmas so in any case sony ericsson has little time to present a msduo-mp3-vga-video-tft SE phone to compete with the nokia in the next two or three months.
PLUS. it is maybe the most "sonyericsson-looking" nokia so far and apart from the tiny screen i don't think we can find any better phone in that size.
conclusion. OKAY we all hate nokia and stuff but don't be so blind and extremist, this is a really great phone.

This is the phone I am waiting for...
Unless SE comes out with something better...
But if both will have a card slot I think I'll choose Nokia because I don't want to but the proprietary MS. |

There is no douglt in the mobile world that Nokia is the leading authority in cellular tech. Sony Ericsson tries hard but they are not even close. Sorry Se.

Nokia 6230's features are damn impressive! Maybe Nokia have abandoned their no-phone-has-all-features business model after seeing the threat from the (full featured) SE/T610. If that's the case, then SE might be in trouble!
Looks like SE has to come up with nothing less than a spectacular phone that's at par or better than Nokia 6230, else SE's recent gain in market share might drop again.

I don`t understand why all the ppl tend to compare the T610 with this one (obviously, it`s comparing a porsche with a truck)...being a project not even out yet u all can wait a loooong time until u can get ur hands on one.Of course, it`ll probably be around 1000$ and counting...and other than that , the nokia manufacture sickens me..sucks big time...i just don`t buy it yet...let`s wait for the reality.

I almost considered getting this phone, but then I saw that "static ringtones" bull****, and small screen... Nokia always manages to leave out some small details which entirely ruins the phone as a whole. I guess by the time the phone is released, there will be other alternatives...

There's always something with Nokia. It'll be delayed, or be unreliable, or cost far too much. |

Actually the active/usable display area in 6230 and in T610/630 is about the same, since in SE the battery and signal indicators are always viewable.
And what you mean with "static ringtones"? |

The 6230 is amazing! And yes, it does have bluetooth.
Check it out:

Of course it has better features that the T610, but its newer though remember.
Nevertheless, Nokia always comes up with the goods- this phone is gonna be popular!
Stop bagging Nokia for the sake of it- if they make a good product, just friggen acknowledge it!
Since when was Esato a SE site? Where is that mentioned? Nowhere. Its not- its a mobile phone site. And Nokia happens to be the biggest player in that industry, and for good reason most of the time.

Don't really understand why people are writing of a Nokia before they ever had their hands on... This 6230 has just good specs and is better dan any other european SE (part from the Z1010/P800/P900). And it will be much more afordable for people then the 700+ euros costing Z1010/P900.
I also find it strange that the same people who hate the Nokia's can live with the Sendo X (not a bad phone though) but if you look at the specs between the X and the 6230 there isn't much difference.
