I suggest u to use the Chatboard to avoid losing the joystick sensitivity. I use mine with the Chatboard and it works quite well, only delays when pressing. If you don't mind about that, it's the best way to have less joystick count. My T68m is now 865 joystick count (it's 3 months old). And the last another suggest is to press the number of the menu instead of scrolling down through menus.

I'm always using joystick because it works fine at the moment (joystick count 73,5k, phone age about 5 month) and works much better than my YES button, so I'm almost always pressing joystick down (not down direction!) instead of pressing YES. All games also playing using joystick.
Phone made in Sweden (HW: R1B/R1A), purchased in Finland.

Haha viagra! Anyway going to upgrade my sw tomorrow and see if that helps. Have to admit that the problem seems to have stopped for the moment - intermitent. I've still got R1B and the sc think it may be this when i phoned, not totally convinced.

I believe any that move often needs replacement after some time. Same with your car tyres and wipers. Joystick counter provides a good indication when to replace joystick.

edwardm...you can use the Chatboard to scroll through any WAP pages. At the first time you want to scroll down the page, you need to press shift and >. But afterthat u don't have to. Just > or <.

Thanks everyone for your replies.

I took my phone back to Vodafone today and they gave me a new one which suprised me because I've had this one well over a month. I then got back t work and started to set my new phone up and found that the YES key didn't work!! So again I went staright back and exchanged it for a new one (making sure all the keys worked correctly this time).

This one has R2B on it which is a bonus as I had the old sw on my last one. So anyway I'm now on my 5th T68 isince December - THIS HAS GOT TO BE SOME SORT OF RECORD!

Although I love this phone I can't defend it's build quality anymore - I just hope thi one lasts moe than a month. If not I'll have to swap it for the T68i.

I will be getting the chattboard tomorrow and using my joystick less. this shouldn't be the way it is though - you should be ale to use the joystick without fear of breaking it. Maybe I'm just unlucky??

I have encountered the same problem several times. And my joystick counter is about only 20k. I'm not using it so hard.
