phpbb1 is quicker than phpbb2, cos it doesnt have to load all those crappy images and those lovely gradients

You can get a phpBB1 skin for phpBB2 and it would look the same, better search, new Private messaging system,Mass emailing of groups and users by the administrator,Designed with security as a priority,Optional new post verification some features are the same but greatly improved. |

i agree with phil - there are so many security problems with the current version - it could be easily exploited

no one wld do that to esato
and if they did.. we'll kill em
the search function wld be cool to change
and the newest posts shld be changed to like the one on my-symbian
that way I can truly see the latest posts from the last time I logged in and not the computer
also the possibility of deleting/moving/locking one's own thread
the rest rules!

yes, I have to agree with that comment about seeing posts since I last logged in... not since I last logged in on this particular computer. That does annoy me as I switch between my personal pc and my office pc.

when you say subscribe do you mean be able to get emails when someone replies in the thread?
if so then yuck... I have tried that on a couple of forums but when the thread goes way off topic I still get those £$%^&** emails telling me someone has replied to the thread I was interested in!

Yeah that's what I mean, and like joecool says, it's just as easy to unsubscribe (or at least it should be!)
