From within the OS X AddressBook is certainly one and a good option.
Alternatively one can get a third party SMS software. One that I recommend is GSM Remote X. There's SMS option but also facitlities to manage your SIM's phone number registry. You can find it through . |

Thanks for the tips  it seems that there is some problem between my T68i and the address book because that one doesn't work. But the GSM Remote X does, jee!

Well well, how silly can you get the address book works fine, I was just trying to click the wrong place! I tried to click the name on the list, not the number on the card, silly me But now everything is just dandy (for a while) |

Maybe i'm being a bit simple but you can just select the contact from the phone book, press more then select send as tex message done! |
