I just got my firmware updated, and noticed more battery drain, but I did upgrade my internet plan to unlimited 56k service. Using this eats my battery. I do make sure to close my apps usIng Tracker, but usually get a day...

With BT turned on I get about 3-4 days with normal phone usage, SMS sending etc. But if I use Opera or do something for a longer period of time battery drain will be bigger, of course.

Turning off non-essential programs is the best cure always for longer batt. life

No idea how you can get 6 days with that much use...

I can comfortably stretch to 3 days with average use, I have BT always on, and GPRS on lots (I don't beleive this affects battery life drastically).

I also use SMan to kill apps - it's great!

Edit: To the guy who gets 10 hours - get SMan, it's likely you have lots of apps open.

@Oyvind
You can get SMan 1.1a at http://renegade.w3xs.com

Look for the software section. SMan is a MUST have app for P800.

I charge mine every night, i hammer my phone, granted i don't use MP4 or MP3 that much at the moment, but i can easily rack up a couple of hours WAP GPRS connection each day and i muck about with various apps and games daily!

I charge my phone every 3-4 days and it's on every night. Always use sman, so I close all apps I don't need.
