For those who claim P800 colours ar washed out you should try Loox, the lighting is not that good and those colours are really washed out, even when compared with P800.
P800 resolution is so,so much better!

But this I'm saying is only understandable for those who tried both!

Well, I've seen P800 ... let's see the LOOX soon hopefully!

P.S. I've read that the speaker is loud and clear...is that true?

fair comments loobian.. it's nice to see opinions of the phone other than it's flawless and it's good to have such opinions here for those deciding on which phone they should buy... there are 2 sides to every coin and everyones opinions count. [addsig]

evoke, I agree!
But even the other guy did not like the LOOX very much, I still want it:) I respect his opinion and I belive it is true... what I think is just that my opinion MIGHT (hopefully) be different from his

Also, the phone I am buying is T68i until I save some money for T610... but I still remain SE fan, even SE is not fan of their customers (they have awful support!!!!)

your problem is that you are viewing the P800 as a PDA with phone as extra which is wrong. thats why you are not liking it! its meant to be a phone with the extras of a PDA (and a very good first attempt too) anyways you want portable games? get a gameboy advance SP. better than all PDAs and P800s combined!

@loobian Sorry I thought you wanted a p800 for what it was designed for, and it was not for Entertainment Only! It does everything at a standard rate!

For me standard is fine! Users must realised this!

But I still cant beleive you got the P800 just to watch movies!!!!

I just have one thing to say:

Yep! this sucks.

We're getting an opinion (negative btw) from some guy who wanted a P800 to watch movies.

There's no value whatsoever in this review.
Carrying a t68i+PocketPC, weighing a pound, it's not my idea of relaxation.
Plus, you can play Age of the Empires, but surely for 1/2 an hour or so.

GSM radio as radio frequency for communications not radio to listen to.

You know that's how cellphones work, right? [addsig]

I first thought to just write "having the radio turned on", but then I thought that people might misinterpret that so I decided to write the "GSM radio", well I guess this didn't help. I should have written the GSM transmitter/reciever

I rest my case on this subject.

The guy want's a PDA and a phone not a PDA-phone solution as i thought that was the case and that he sugested that there was a better PDA-Phone out there.

But i do think that should have been pointed out in the first post.
People that are looking for a solution like the P800 can get scared away by such posts.

Well i'm off... As i read esato like 3 times every second month i'll prolly not write more in this thread.

Well, I don't want a separate PDA and phone. I just want to carry one thing around. And I don't care much about games.

But I do care about PDA functions and music. Which is why I haven't bought a P800 yet.

1) I agree with the memory issue. It still costs quite a bit. I've been a big ogg fan for a long time, so I know that helps, but still: $100 for 128Mb is a lot.

2) I agree with the sofware availability issue. There's not much software available yet. Not even close to what's available for Palm or that other OS that's been talked about. This has been talked about a bunch in this forum. No word/excel editing. No sync with Lotus 6. No external keyboard (yes, I know this isn't all OS). Basic stuff that I'd need if I was going to invest this kind of money.
