Planb,
Since you've ordered both (Brando & Overlay Plus), please let me know what's the difference between them as I'm not very satisfy with my Brando because it does not fit the P800 perfectly!

Concerning screen protection, it's a must to buy one. I've got a R380s for about a year now, and some serious scratches have shown up on the display where the flip uses to be (from the uncountable buttonhits) |

For me, investing on a screen protector for such an expensive device like the P800 is worth every penny!
To own it without protecting it is like drinking vintage wine in a paper cup!

The Overlays definitely make the screen much nicer to look at, but there are some points where the Brando is better:
a) The Brando gives the screen a "writing on paper" feel, but the Overlays give a more "writing on plastic" feel.
b) The Overlays are easier to get smudged by fingerprints; you have to wipe the screen more than when using the Brandos.
Anyway, I think that you should stick with ordering the Overlays; the brighter and more vivid screen is worth it when compared to the trade offs. |
