I agree with vegetaleb! Why won't SE get their profit? Imagine if this upgrade will cost more than $40! SE still adds new essential features to the old T68i phones! Just java! If SE enables java in T68i it won't affect T610 selling! There are lots of other differences of t68i and t610! We don't ask SE to build MCA in t68i! We just want a little feature: Java/Mophun! AND WE ARE GONNA PAY FOR IT! Why did SE showed us that Java is possible in T68i? Why the petition was created! Someday it will happen! Maybe when all T610s are sold!

SE, PLEASE, GIVE US JAVA TO T68I!!!!

"If SE enables java in T68i it won't affect T610 selling."

What planet are you living on?

"We don't ask SE to build MCA in t68i!"

I can't understand what you mean by this, if you're saying that you're not asking SE to build a camera in the phone well gee, aren't you reasonable?

"We just want a little feature: Java/Mophun!"

Java AND Mophun now?
It's not a little feature. It would require a lot of work.

"Why the petition was created!"

If you mean 'Why was the petition created?' it was created because there are free petition creating services out there that can do them about anything.

"Maybe when all T610s are sold!"

Maybe they will build some more!

It's not going to happen.

The phone doesn't exactly come into it.

It's a new feature, it can sell new phones so it's going to be in new phones only

i guess we will see but in 1 year 2 years 100 years it wont happen
at least not by se as far as they are concerned the t68i is yesterdays news they want some new news to make them some money.
why mess around spending money trying to get java/morphun into the t68i when people can just get a t310/300/610/p800
they have spent a lot of money developing and making these phones why spend money on an old phone.
i agree with jalu on this
lets get a petition to get a color screen/java/morphun put into a t28

I don't understand why java or mophun is needed in the t68i all of the areas it would cover are covered by other se phones. Also if it could be done it is likely that something else would be left out.

The problem is: T68i has a slider on the left side and T610 does not! It seems to me SE wants to replace it with JogDial. That's why I dont want to buy 610 and I suspect I wont see a phone with a slider this year. I do love a speedtyping slider! So I have to cope with T68i and so Java would be a good addon for T68i.

But I think we will never see Java in T68i. SE even didn't implement it in T310! The only h/w obstacle for java in T68i is slow processor, not mem limitations. And for the mophun is only marketing.

By the end of the summer T610 price will be very beautiful, so if you do not use speed typing in foreign language with english letters, you better buy T610. It has such a wonderful screen

Nice to see jalu not include one valid argument in his reply but rather stoop to the level of using Abusive Ad Hominem ("What planet are you from?"). Mophun is a small platform and the reason SE say they wont implement is they say that there is not enough room. There is room in the T300 because they have 1 game and no bluetooth, think of how much processing power it would drain to have bluetooth and mophun running. Mophun say they are willing to write the code for a t68i mophun port, kind of hinting that its possible dont you think? Including java would take more space than mophun and most applications would be too big for the phone. I simply want mophun, so I have had an idea: a memory upgrade attachment. Make an attachment the same size as the mp3 placer (HPM-10), it can come with a 32MB card, you make one especially for the t68 so when u plug it in you have mophun and heaps of room. This means that SE will sell hundreds of accesories. I know that I will eventually buy another SE, but propably not for another 3 years so there is no point in them trying to force me to buy the t610 just for mophun, if i have to ill play erix, naval fleet and yuckon struggle until the joystick breaks. I just think that it would show how dedicated SE is to its customers if they gave us just mophun. Well thats my 2 cents.

I think the T68i has physicaly more memory than the T300! I'm not sure, but i think the T68i has two memory chips (8MB and 2MB) where the T300 just have one (?MB). Look at the SW-Info menu: The T68i has two firmware versions (I think one per chip) and the T300 just has one.

it doesnt matter how much memory the t68i has they wont do anything to the phone from now on
they will be if they havent already stop production of the phone and that will be that.
they would be better spending the money on advertising there current phones and trying to get people to buy them and get back in the top5
some company out there might wish to do the donkey work and sell an upgrade if its possible but by then most peolpe will have bought a t610 which does everything and more than the t68
people should just move on
