If you read my thread above, you will find the answer.

The single slot for Memory stick needs driver for all OS.
The single slot for Smart media card doesn't need driver under WIN XP/ME.

If the website says you do not need drivers, then thay are lying.

this is the problem i had, i bought the product under the impression by the website saying that you do not need drivers.

otherwise, once installed, it works great, read and write to both normal memory sticks and duo's directly.

Recieved mine this morning. Excellent stuff i think every P800 owner needs one of these things. Works like a dream. As mentioned above- No need to use the Memory Stick adapter - the duo plugs in just fine.

Downloaded MP3's and just drag and dropped them into the audio file in memory stick (removable drive) and within seconds i had mp3's onto my P800 !

Did the same with MP4's - Downloaded them from the net and drag and dropped em and - loadsa mp4's now on me 128mb duo !

Would have taken me a week on the usb cable !

Bought Billionton 6-in-1 card reader USB 2.0. When I plugged my MS duo (in adaptor) to this device, there was electric-shocked through my finger. Then all my files gone. I forgot to back-up everything there. Also notice the different adaptor between the default from P800 and Magic Gate Sony 128 Mb (MSAC-M1 7 MSAC-M2). Be very careful !

128mb of music is not much. But it will have to do. I guess they don't have 60-70gig MSD yet *sighs*

@Anuj
That is actually a great idea... Have thought about it, but the price would be too high. Cheaper to buy a mp3 player with the amount of gig I need. But who wants that when you got a cool P800? Not me... so will just have to bite the sour apple and buy some more MSD.

Just use .ogg files instead of .mp3 compression - you get a lot more music to your MBs!
