My last nokia was a 6210, but anyway I have uninstalled all soft of that one long ago. |

have the same problem. cannot install new pc suite. any new developments as to the reason of this unsuccessful installation? |

Do you have a norton antivirus?
That is the last option that I can imagine that could be the problem.
I thinking about trying again after uninstalling norton, but as it is my business pc I wait for the system admin. to give his ok.

I have now installed on my kids pc with W98SE and no problems.
For my W2Ksp3 system, could uninstalling Norton be the clue??
I would like to know your opinion before trying, because it will give me certianly troubles with the system admin of my Co. but if that's the point I'll do it.

I had the same problem a few days ago when I first got my p800. When I tried today it worked. Note this time the cradle was NOT connected - last time it was. Go figure. |

RESOLVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally I have found the solution!
I have used msconfig to disable all software in boot and then booted in msconfig "test" mode.
With that boot configuration the pc suite FINALLY installed.
So: The error message was really bullsh.. There was NO program pending install or unistall...................
SE : Thanks for NOTHING ..................I AM STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY TO MY MAILS AND I HAVE SPENT 5 LONG WAITING CALLS TO THE SUPPORT CENTER FOR NOTHING. "SUPPORT"...........HA! STILL LAUGHING!
