Wost of all, Singapore's SE service centre hasn't even heard about it at all!!! Till today, they still claim no news, no nothing yet for the upgrade |

So has anyone found anywhere in the UK where we can get this upgrade? (I couldn't work out where senninha was from the post) Can anyone post when they manage to get it from somewhere in central London. I'm guessing CPW on Oxford Street will have it soon, but if the wait is anything like it was for the T68-T68i upgrade I wanna get in in line as soon as it's ready!
I don't like the sound of this CPW not flashing Orange phones - I think I heard this before, but at the time I wasn't on Orange so I didn't care! Anyone know anything about this? |

I got the same problem. I have Orange P800 and I went to CPW. Later that day they phoned me to say that they can not do SW upgrades for Orange phone!
Anyone any ideas where to Flash Orange phones with the latest software. |

The upgrade is available in Malaysia already. As expected, the firmware was not drastic in terms of its UIQ. Probably this is just another firmware fixes. |

OMG! SE Service Centre in Singapore, did you read this thread? Even our neighbours Malaysia, Thailand and Phillipines are having it, and you still say no info???? |

I have a problem with the new upgrade.
when my P800 was flashed it showed audio player in the menu when the flip was closed and I could control my audio from there. but now after I restored my backup I can't find that function anymore.
has anyone else experienced this ?

@brimme: SE recommends that you DO NOT restore a backup of the the old phone's contents after upgrading, as some fundamental files of the old system will be restored and might remove some of the functionality of the new firmware.
So... try and backup ONLY your contacts in some manner (IRDA/BT to T68i etc) and do a master reset and restore ONLY your contacts. This is tedious, but unfortunately necessary. You might also try and move your data to your MS and restore it after the master reset.
Or even synchronise your contacts with Outlook and just sync again after the master reset. |
