My sympathies to you, dealing with Sony/Ericsson Support is hard work. Though not on the same scale as you I had problems with my T68i. The first one was returned to my supplier, Cellular Services, because of a faulty battery. The next one had no templates for the MMS. On the scale of importance, given what's going on, is not high. I phoned Sony/Ericsson support and was given two options.
a) Live with it.
b) Get someone with the same model to send them to me. I thought that was ironic considering who I was phoning.
The result was I contacted my supplier & they sent me a new phone that day. Now that's customer support. If it was'nt such a good phone I would change but it fits my needs.

I have to say, I've had problems with all the Ericsson phones I've had, but none of the Nokias; SE is just way to cool to go back to Nokia though!

u are soo right...
i had a matter also with sony ... i kept talking/calling/emailing them...till they agreed to send me a new t68i...funny thing is they returned the broken fone too...yes i have 2 now...lol and guess what...they even fixed the broken one..lol

good story se support are pretty notorious here in the UK for knowing Jack about what they are supposed to know ah well at least we have Esato!!
