Hey Bogman,
What do you mean by ordering a P800 as an additional user? I'm also on orange at the moment and want to get a P800 but the upgrade cost is something like £280 which I can't really afford. But if i sign a new contract I can get a phone for about £100 or so but have to go thorugh the hassle of changing numbers. Does getting the P800 as additional user mean the phone is cheaper than on upgrade (and by how much)? Obviously that would solve my problem. |

@ASWE
Additional user means...someone else sharing your talk plan minutes. You have to pay an additional rental fee but works out a lot cheaper then taking out an additional plan with the equivalent minutes. I now share the plan with my beloved sharing my 200 mins/month
Hope this helps

Just be careful.....I have one of the old "Anytime 200" plans which includes Orange Care. Prior to upgrading to the P800 I asked Orange if I keep the plan will this include the insurance....the answer was YES.
This week they tell me NO, because it's a Phone and PDA your insurance is invalide on your plan and you need to take out a new policy @ ?/month. After nearly 4 weeks use I have cancelled my P800 and it's going back to orange today. I'm keeping my T68, this will be coverd by Orange Care and have ordered a new P800 from AVR mobiles as an additional user. Doing this I saved myself ?60 on the cost of the handset and upgrade fee.
And.................got a brad new P800

So... If the onestop website said 12 months insurance from orange care included, it's actually just warranty and not insurance? |

onestopphoneshop.co.uk have the ***WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ****. I bought a phone from them, there was no coverage in my area, i asked them to check the coverage before hand, they said they did and it was excellent. They wouldn't return it, even though singlepoint the service providers they were more than happy to cancel the contract as it was only 2 days after and I had 14 days under my statutory right, Single point were kind enough to reduce my contract from £30 a month to the £15 per month. Onestopphoneshop.co.uk were rude and completley out of line, so now I have a phone with no signal in my area, stuck with a 12 month O2 contract. I even said I was willing to change the network to one that would work and they wouldn't do it. The guy I spoke to was called Chris apparantly the manager.
