well once the new comunicator comes out SE and the P800 will be no match.... The T610 is a very ugly phone not many people are interested in looking ugly so I think that the Nokia 6220 will take care of that because it has EDGE and a somewhat reasonalble design. also the T310 has the same problem of a extreme poor design, and the Nokia 3300 come out on top in the long run because People like the Interface of Nokia and like to stick with what they are used to, You must remember the average consumer is not looking for a phone that has all the bells and whistles, But a phone that they can use easily and have good quality reception

what the heck they trying to tell us? meaning nokia are not following the footprint of ericsson?

It is amazing that people still buy Nokia 3310's. Nokia is great at marketing. The 3310 is among the worst low-end phones available today. Battery performance, design, size and features are much worse than most of the other available low-end phones today (and for the last year).

It's good for Nokia though, as they still can sell a phone that is like 4 years old. Nokia 3210 is the same phone except a new design and vibration on the 3310.

Nokia 3*** series are good they are just a PHONE, However i got bored of having JUST a phone years ago.
Who said on this thread that when Nokia bring out the new communicator it will be better than the p8, please stop dreaming about ONE companies future products as if no other companies will be making new products, truth is that all future phones will be interesting.
You have to compare whats available NOW. your statement is like saying "your having a crappy life now, but you wait till you get to heaven, it's going to be fantastic" ....lets wait & see shall we.

@ Pachy

Yes, I know that the 33xx series are just a phone. But there are lot's of other phones that are "just a phone" in the same price range as the 33xx. And they are smaller and have better battery performance and more features. The features may not be important for the people buying it to use just as a phone, but battery performance and size should be.

The 3310 phone is the worst phone available in this segment today. Siemens has quite a few very good phones in this price range. SE has some very good cheap phones as well. And there are other brands with good phones as well

Admittedly, Nokia is no. 1. They really need to be very careful to maintain that status. Once you reach the top, nowhere else to go but down.

maybe the finns just want to give a kick to their swedish counterpart to work harder.

if being realistic, SE might be able to get back it no3 spot but to be number one? they might need to work hard.

I think things is sorting out for SE at the moment. They present new models and the reaction is over all good! Keep up the good work !

Well, I'd say the user friendliest UI of the non-colour low end phones is in the 3310 phone. That's why it's so popular. With the Navi key, you can't go wrong. A lot of people like it simple and they buy these phones.

5 years ago Ericsson was still the 1st manufacturer of the world. And today, only 5%...........................

Same future for Nokia I think because Samsung is very strong, you know.

Or perhaps one day we will see something like Samsung-Nokia perhaps?

i think other cellular phone manufacturers cannot bring down the walls of nokia....yes they are leading the market due to its fashion, user friendly design. i personally dont like nokia but today we are in the trend of fast and easy access gadgets and thats what is nokia for. They dont mind competing because they know they are still on top.
