Unfortunately it's not just a "feature" of the T68's.. My T39m (with the latest sw, R3B006) does it as well. And it did it before the sw upgrade as well, so ???.

Well, the charge just can't suddenly disappear - I am sure the battery is still in the same state of charge as it was.

Like I don't always believe the fuel gauges on my car. Put in so much fuel, should drive so many km, unless you have a big leak!!!

You know normally how long your phone last from a full charge.

I have the same problem.

So I avoid switching off my phone altogether.

I keep my T68 ON 24/7

One thing that can cause this trouble seems to have to do with your network provider. Here in Sweden for an example we got 3 NP. When I put in a SIM-card from two of them I get a talktime around 4½ hours fully charged but when I put in a SIM from our third NP I got a talktime around 9-10 hours.
By the way, the NP that get's a talktime around 9-10 hours is using Ericsson hardware only
