Why does my T68 always show at least 1-2 bars LESS on the battery meter after I turn it off and back on again or remove the battery to restart it? Does this happen to anyone else? If so, did it get addressed in the firmware upgrades? I'm stuck with R1B in the US and am waiting for the picture book to be included before I send off my phone.

I can't imagine what owners of the T65 have to do when/ if their phone freezes. The battery is screwed on!

...or they reset the battery by pressing 'no' for abour ten seconds... Which is probably not a very good solution, come to think of it. My T65 has frozen from time to time when wapping, especially when loading pictures.

I tried that thing too and lost 1 hour at first shutdown. Next few restarts didn't affect numbers anymore. But bar in screen behaves very strange indeed.

why can't they make the calculation of standbytime "adaptive" like the "onboard computers" on cars? I mean, they calculate the distance you can drive based on your previous way of driving.

My meter never seems to learn...

And the battery symbol always seem to start at the middle and then it goes down to the level where it were before I shut the phone down.

I have exactly the same problem! I shutdown my phone, and when I power up, i lose about 1/3 of the battery. What gives??!!

I'm wondering if this is a "feature" of the T68. Does everyone have this problem? I'm on firmware revision R1C (upgraded from R1B).

I'm thinking of exchanging my phone under warranty because of this. But if everyone is having the same problem, then there's no point in doing an exchange.

Anyone who DOES NOT have this problem? What firmware revision are you running?
