I used it(HBH60) for 20-25min phone call everyday.....on it from 7am to 10pm but it manage to last 2 to 2.5 days.

Some how I notice there's no "Beep" warning when it is lin low battery state. I used HBH20 before and tht manage to Beep to give me warning.

does HBH30 have those warning too?

like jplacson...it's still depends on your preference.

the biggest advantage to use HBH60 is you can easily know /learn the way to wear it.

Sunil,

I charged it the first time for about 1.5 - 2 hours. I didn't leave it charging longer because I wanted to try it.

Good luck with your new unit.

Thanks vacoum, i'll let you know what happens with the next one!
Just one last question though...do you leave your headset on or off? I still don't know weather the 72 hour standby time refers to the headset being completely off or being on but idle? Thanks for your help

Sunil

Hi Sunil,

I never turn it off. I figure that it's good to have it on all the time.

I think the standby time refers to the HBH-60 being on.

Hello guys,
I just bought the HBH-60.Works fine except with voice dialing.
When the t68i askt to speak and I say a name, the phone freezes.
I also did the upgrade to firmware R7A013. So that couldn't be the reason. Any idee's?
Thanks and greetz.

it still can be the reason even you get it to R7.

Maybe R7 still have some bug. But try to on the bluetooth connection instead of putting it at automatic.

or you try to get them repair again.

BTW I notice some small thing. If you put the headset into
the pocket of your pants with lots of things inside, sometimes those thing can press onto the button and reset the headset!.

I donno this can easily happen to HBH30 or not, but a few days back this happen when i put my phone and headset into the pocket of my pant.

I got a HBH-60 and after pairing it with both my T68i's I thought at first it was great , but after using it in my car and my coach it is useless. When I am in the house or at work it is fine but if I am driving no one can hear me they only hear bits of my conversation behind a loud crackling and buzzing noise. I have only had it a couple of days and spoke to Eshop where I got it from and they have ran out of stock so will issue me with a replacement when new stock comes in.

hbh60 is a bit sensitive to pick up noise from radio, you air conditioner's blower and sound of tyres/suspension due to bumpy road.

when you drive, and want to talk using it, try not to turn the radio volume very loud....then don't make the air con. blower facing the head set (your face).

Also the way to wear it is very important, always try to make sure your headset is wear properly on the ears, sometimes you just don't know you didn't wear properly.

I do adjust the headset position sometimes in order to let the microphone have better position "facing" my mouth.

For road condition....cannot help it coz when its bumpy, my sound always sound like robot (complain from friends)
maybe try to change better tyre will help just kidding.

I have tried to move the headset about but it does not seem to make any difference to the quality of sound. I hopefully will be getting a replacement as soon as Eshop have them back in stock. Will give it another go and see if it was just the handset. I do not want to do any software upgrades as I don't want my handset to develop any faults and want ti to stay in the great condition it is in. I have heard a lot of horror reports of handsets going away for upgrades and coming back faulty.

I would just like to p[oint out that laser pointers are very dangerous things if used improperly. I have a friend that lost his coach licensce after a child pointed it into his eyes and caused temperary blindness which is still to servere for him to get his PSV licensce back and he lost his job through it. These things are not toys and should not be treated like such. Please don't make comments about using them in disco's in the way you discribed as some idiot will try this and someone else may lose their sight.

O.K. An update.

After upgrading the software, the HBH-60 got worse. It is now impossible to talk to people as they can't hear what I say because my voice gets intermittently cut as I talk.

I have just sent it to the SE service centre. They will take 3 days to look at it and I'll see when it returns if there's any improvement.

ok volvo man

sorry for the joke....will erase it but i think using laser pointer for presentation with hbh60 is ok

thanks for the warning.

anyway you can use bluetorch on it too.

I believe HBH60 problem is not on the headset but the latest firmware for T68
