What are you going to buy after XRay?
I hardly find any better phone for my needs.
I wish Ray had 1GB Ram though

I agree. It's going to be tough because the Xperia ray has a great design as well as great features. I'm not quite fond of the new designs of Sony... they're nice, just not my style. The last gen of Xperia's had great designs. From the arc to the mini/mini pro, active, and the ray... I loved almost all the previous gen Xperia phones. Now, Sony is trying to come up with their own look. I like the transparent band a lot, I hope that becomes a signature... but I'm not warming up to the squarish shapes they currently have.

If I had to choose... I would say the Xperia P would be my pick for this generation... if only it had the same dimensions as the ray. The SX would seem to be a natural choice, but I prefer the design of the P... it's just way too big for me, if it had a 3.3" screen with the same resolution... I woulront and back, etcd consider that as my next phone... but for now, I'll hold out.

same here, i don't dig the current designs...although xperia go looks good but the back is too plain and squarish (even if the corners are rounded). 2011 xperias so far is still the best, fell in love with the ray immediately! curves top and bottom, etc. now that i have the ray, i hope sony will continue the compact size tradition with high-end specs. i don't think other players have such category. looking forward to 2013. too bad the SX is for japan only, but who knows....sony might release this internationally. with its size, no doubt it's a ray successor. also, it has an accessible and detachable battery.

Sony's designs are truly unique. I don't think anyone can look at the Xperia S and be reminded of a phone made by a fruity company the same way they would if they looked at Samsung Galaxy [Insert Model] ? It may be due to Sony's rich heritage (and Ericsson's input and influence no doubt)
If it is to be it is up to me!

Samsung were one of the most innovative companies in design prior to the iPhone craze, the company was so bold at creating designs never before seen, in fact 10 years ago when most new color-screened phones have fixed display, Samsung utilized a 180° rotating screen!

The link below shows Samsung's best times
