I found a Hong-Kong based web-shop selling secondhand phones.
They have an used T68i for sale. for some 30GBP.
A T68
I am right now waiting for the delivery of my order of a Ericsson T20 and a R320.
It seems like I getting the shipping for free but will, most probably have to pay Swedish VAT and customs fee.
Still a childs phone should probably be much more than a telephone, perhaps all the extras, like camera and games is far more important than an odd phone call now and then...
The ZTE F102i seems to have the most with a low price.

The T68i is definitely my favourite choice right now but will wait a little longer to see if I can find a child specific phone if not then the T68i it is. |

I only said JCB cos it's tough & kids cannot break it. But it is quite pricey though. Yes,go for t68 or t68i which you could probably find on Ebay. EDIT: One on Ebay for £29 refurbished

A T68? come on don't give a piece of history like that to kids.
They'll break the joystick for sure. Instead if you really want to go more basic, give them a Cedar phone.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

The JCB phone and SE cedar are simply to big for a 5 year olds tiny hands the T68i is acceptable as its comparatively smaller and design is good for a child too I think. |
