Nokia X6 Dust in Screen |

Yes i did. Its not all bad the x6 is good phone perhaps if people shout about it enough to Nokia they will sort the fault on future handsets. My Nokia still zero dust. Remind them that your in a contract stuck with this for many months to come. The goods are not satisfactory and the dust inside the screen should not be there and it spoils the display. If that were my phone i always get my way in shops.

How are you finding the X6 besides the dust? Have you installed any interesting apps?
Bono, are you also using the Contacts Bar homescreen with Contacts and Email bars turned off there?

Demand a replacement since you are paying for a "new" phone and are not satisfied with the service. If your embaressed, there's more than one Vodafone shop you can go too!

At the end of the day your paying them a contract the way I see it it's the same as any other fault. If you had a camera would you be satisfied if dust got into your lens? No. I have read some iphones had this problem. And yes go to another store if possible. I have done so before. Do not be embarrassed just do it

If your taking it back take everything back in the box as your returning the lot. They will give you a new one in a new box if they agree

Well put it this way you have the 30 days or 28 as some say & if it occurs again well i would not go back but get it repaired put a note with your phone explaining to get rid of dust & seal the screen properly. By the way Ed Doolan on Radio WM here who deals with consumer issues he say's the 28 or 30 thing is bull. He said within ANY warranty period you have the right to a replacement

There seems to be a few problems with dust in this phone from other people,
im the first on vodafone with this problem I think, haven't seen any other thread yet!
tbh I would like something else but I guess it's not possible lol
they only change it after 7 days not after
another thing the X6 has the most horrid phonelocking on the side,
imscared to even touch it as it looks like it could fall of easily

LOL when it came to Quality I think Nokia do more in terms of cheaper models,
my first impressions of the X6 when I first got it was it lacked in quality
but it's what on the inside that counts not the outside
hmmso now im gunna have to get my old 5300 back out then and clear the X6 for tomorrow...
Nokia insist it goes to a NSC don't Vodafone send it to the manufacturer?
also saying that since the phone has failed and got faults then Vodafone should just
be able to send it back to Nokia and them issue them another right?
so they shouldn't be outta pocket and give me a new phone :/
