Before august 25th i could live without one. After that my life's changed 'drastically'. I've learnt that i like taking photos and a good camphone is worth it when not having money to buy a cam. Being moderator here i need to spend an extra time online. In conclusion i don't think i can't live without it a week.

May be i can't. Everyday i use my phone as a music player, camera, also a part of my relationship (since LDR)
But if i'm in a holiday and with her, may be i can.

Guess we would all get withdrawl symptoms like the shakes the sweats GIVE ME MY PHONE NOW Tranced i thought that date you mentioned is because of the Satio release or something. I guess it is a nice luxury having a posh phone with a nice camera enjoying taking shots anywhere I think sometimes with me i either dont want to be bothered or i wanna smash someone else's phone cos they wont answer it or turn it off blasting it on the bus it sends me insane :-| Thats the beauty of mobiles you have the power to answer or not. Like my Italian friend sometimes she calls me at annoying times and she wont stop talking. I am on the phone to her saying YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH IM LISTENING. Not. Sometimes flight mode is good then you can still listen to music or camera snaps
Phone?? What phone?? |

Ah... Now it makes sense. I was wondering why that date was so special as I don't remember any awe-inspiring cameraphone being released around that time. Heh... Thanks for the clarification, tranced.

I think 2005 was the revolutionary year for cameraphones when the K750i arrived. 2004 was ok with the S700i but it was too expensive and didnt appeal to joe average. 2005 was when true mobile photography took off.
Thats when being without a mobile phone, especially a became scarey for many people.

I'd suggest 2004 and the K700i.
I became addicted to mobile phones in 2001 with the Philips Ozeo. Full-featured phones tend to make me use all the features to the max and that creates the addiction. Awkward phones like my 2002 Alcatel 511 and like the iPhone has just become tend to destroy the addiction and become stressfull and frustrating as a result. Hopefully Rachael with prove to be another addictive product.
My iPhone is going to suffer a horrible death...
