well I had a contact number and tried texting but it immediately came back as failed to deliver so it must be an inactive sim now.
**EDIT** tried calling the number, comes back as cannot be recognised
have sent an email to him instead

sorry to hear what has is going on here with you mutley. I was just thinking have you considering bringing Police involvement in this? As you did send your handset to him if i read it right can you get the Police to look at this and maybe get them to pay him a visit? |

You have his address & for certain,someone signed the delivery notice as they've received the item..
They dont have an excuse..

still no contact from trevor at all.
Will contact the police but to be honest I dont think they will be bothered at all. Still I do have the address so I could always go up and collect, even if the petrol cost will end up being more that what the trade was worth

Sorry to hear this mate, if you do go see him make sure you get petrol costs also, what a bellend. I cant stand people like this.
So much for Trusted Traders eh, there's always 1 loser who ruins it for the rest. I'd personally break his legs.

well well, it seems trev has not died mysteriously or anything as i have found him active on another forum now, posting about the phone he received from miklsp in a trade
i have posted a reply there and told him i am going up to grimsby next week to collect what is owed if i dont hear from him
this is the thread on the other forum
also if anyone else wants to get in touch with him, contact me for his address

mutley - go to the police or at least get their advice. He might even have a history of doing this stuff. You'll never know if you don't try.

i will be contacting the police in grimsby the day before i go up there. Not going to say what day as trev is probably reading this and i dont want to let him know which day it will be as he could just go out for the day then

Reading your link regarding MikLsp and his device, i cant see it documented anywhere that he suffered any loss?, he really ought to say his piece here if that's the case.
Neanderthal and psychotic threats towards Mr Howson do nobody any favours either, the police will not be remotely interested in a matter such as this, i would be tempted to put this down to experience, what you gain on the roundabouts, you lose on the swings!!
