If you transfer video clips
using another program than Media Go™,
we recommend that you select H.264
Baseline profile video, up to QVGA at 30
fps, VBR 384 kbps (max 768 kps) with
AAC+ audio at 128 kbps (max 255 kbps),
48 kHz and stereo audio in mp4 file
format.
I hope that was useful

Thanks for the settings but it didn't help.
Video playback stutters somewhat and audio stinks through external speaker.
Must use earphones for good audio playback and sometimes the video literally stutters from one frame to the next!
Again, the funny thing is, the mp4 movies work "well" when transferred over to and viewed on my Apple iTouch!
The movies also plays well through Quicktime or any other video player, though it's very small, obviously, given its size!
Anyway...
the w995 really isn't meant as a video player. SE should stop advertising its video capability!
Too bad the phone doesn't support Dvix/Xvid (avi) formats as it would've been so much easier to view the files without encoding them to mp4!
Also, my eyes started to hurt as I squinted to see the movies on such a small screen!
I'll use my iTouch for viewing small, portable movies and keep the w995 as a music phone!
Let's hope that SE's newer phones, such as Rachel (X3), will be better for video viewing with its bigger screen size!
