Count me in as dumb phone lover too. Though smart is not the problem. I dont like the full touch designs.
The same here, +1

Probably the question "smart or not" is about the past.
Now with video formats implementation from LG and Samsung, their dumb phones are not so dumb
As for me, Simbian on my N82 is awful with certificates asking
I prefer WM, hope it doesn't look strange |

interesting to read all the comments. I remember when I had the N73 smart phone. So many features of that handset and the applications I had, I felt I just did not need. Even when I had the n95 8GIG too. So i then decided to sell that and go for my k850 |

LOL! Somebody in here said that having a smartphone can be a stress cause you're always looking for the latest software, LOL! Its most definetly NOT like that, at this point ive got all the software i want and need on my smartphone and once in a while when i get bored il download and test software just for the fun of it,but otherwise in content with what i have. Some of my software is old eg. MobiTubia, im using an older version but im happy with it, it does all that i want it to with no problem so im not updating it just yet.
Ive had more freezes, and reboots with SE java phones than with smartphones, i think that realy just depends on the device, because i can go for weeks/months with heavy use on my smartphone without a single freeze or reboot, yet with my SE java phone il take it out its box this morning and by tomorrow i will have had a random reboot. :?

@MWEB
A little off topic: I've been wondering for months about your sig; it says M-R is the 2nd biggest site about mobiles. Are you referring to Esato as the biggest? |

The last Symbian phone i had was the n73 which was nice but slow. I have gone off Symbian phones dont fancy Windows either. What i like are either Sony Ericsson dumb phones or Nokia and some of the latest touch screens going around which most are not smart phones and i care nothing for apps.

The possibility to install apps is not the only difference between an smart phone vs dumb phone. They have neutered the PIM applications in their dumb phones.

I really love my K810i it is a sweet reliable phone and I don't need to stress out about software and finding the right menu.
