Have you heard the latest? Jacqui Smith Home Secretary had claimed expenses for an Apple iphone for her husband. SPIT SPIT SPIT

The iphone seems like the most sensible expense claim i've seen yet i guess a decent smartphone is an important and necessary requirement for a MP.

Bearing in mind that the vast majority of them are bourgeoisie dinosaurs who don't really understand what email and the world wide web is, I have to disagree. Sure, they need a mobile phone for their work. But unless Apple have released an app which helps you differentiate between your arse and your elbow, I don't see how an iphone could be considered essential for a MP to do his/her job.
Besides, they've managed perfectly alright without smartphones in the past.

Yes indeed and why when it comes out of their expenses do they always go for the most expensive things i.e the iphone. I see Hazel Blears has stepped down now. Great sick of her smirking face all the time :@
