Same is happening with me. I bought a 2GB M2 in $10 without warranty.

see, a lot of people do have corruption and data issues with fake m2, only some lucky ones get a good m2...

I've bought a 8GB Sandisk M2 Micro, and it's all legal. I've filled it up to 1.8gb, nothing slow down, nothing corrupted and whatever like that. It's real. 
And the price is half cheap than the average price.  |

If the label says "Sandish" and not "Sandisk" I ca guarantee that it's a fake |

I'm in Melb and I got mine from a 3 store. Most phone shops should start stocking them now. Didn't have 1gig in stock so I got the 512Mb. About $70 Sony. There'll be heaps of posts after mine telling you where to get it cheaper (probably ebay) but I can't be stuffed shopping around for $20 or so.
