No doubt more resistance than any other phone I've had... but nearly the same as the W880 my wife has.
It isnt terrible though, I even used a crystal case for a short bit and now have a rubber skin cover and have no issues with buttons. Actually, the skin might have made it better. |

(i will not nag about c902.... everyone already know what i think )
I knew you wouldn't stick to that.
Why is it, that because someone says something you don't agree with, they are wrong and don't know what they are talking about?
On that video, the lag in response is so bad. The touch sensitive buttons are a waste of time.
And yes, I used the C902 for several days, not 5 minutes. |

Thanks guys
Might go for the C902 now About the flash though. how much of a difference would i notice compared to my current flash compared to the led flash. I mean is there a very big noticeable difference?

anything more than a few feet away the pictures suffer - a lot. If dark room photos are your priority you can do better by choosing non LED.
If not your priority or for situations where a flash wouldnt be used in a camera phone, the advantage goes away IMO to where you start comparing other features.
For sure, go try them in the store! I couldnt decide until I had them in my hand. |

like i said before. there is two things who is better with LED, (macro, and outdoor), the rest there is xenon of course better. (think you will get satisfield with your choice ) good luck !
@Marty, i really give a crap how long you used c902, (i think you are a lying dog anyway. (you really think i have forgot everything you called my daughter ???) stop quoting my posts in the future and i will do the same with you.

As a camera the phone is great. Anything else it's just so-so. Buttons not great for texting. Screen too small. It really depends on what your interest is. If you take a lot of pics, you can't go wrong. That's what it's really what it's designed for. If you search the web a lot, etc, it's not so hot. |

thats true. (its a full blood shooter, not some multimedia-stuff)...by the way, most of SE newer cybershots have great sound using a pair of good headphones (thats quite important feature for a cellphone i think)
cant really see how someone can reflex one the screen. (before i was used with k750 then k800/k810 and then k850, i never felt some need to have BIG screen....maybe because i never watch videos i guess.
(think it more important that the screen is crispy and shows natural colours good...and there is c902 a blast, (like most of Sonyericsson screens)

The C902's flash is strong for an LED unit, it even beats C702's Dual LED. It also consumes less power than C905's Xenon I think. CMIIW. |

I've never been attracted to the C902 design but since my dad bought it, it has grown on me. And what impressed me even more is how good it is as a point and shoot after my dad brought back some pictures he took in one of his travels, almost all photos had sharp with really impressive colours (that's a big deal since my dad's 66 y.o. and doesn't have the steadiest hands if you know what I mean), even for low light shots.

I sort of avoided this thread because I knew it would become the silly argument it has become.
But I must add that the C902's buttons, while they take a bit of getting used to in the beginning (about 3 days), I now consider them as the best keypad I've ever had on a phone. They are comfortable and not too stiff and the backwards slant to them hasn't bothered me since the first week. I've now had the phone for probably over six months.
The touchscreen controls on my C902 are super responsive. There is no delay from pressing them to seeing settings changed, etc. The only drawbacks to them for me are that sometimes they are too responsive, eg. You press them by accident!
The camera on the C902 has never ever given me any trouble. Most of my shots come out great provided they have proper lighting (the LED flash isn't that great but is satisfactory for close subjects).
The build quality on the C902 is extremely good. It feels solid and has a good weight to it. My only problem with it is that if you get an earlier C902 with the glossy black bit around the video call camera/speaker area when the camera cover is slid up, you will eventually get scratches on it and you will get dust clogging up the light sensor and video call camera holes.
SE as far as I know did fix this by changing the glossy black to a textured matte plastic which catches the dust and reduces scratching to a minimum, if not entirely. If you can, get one of those.
Despite its few small flaws, I would definitely recommend a C902.

he he.....one more guy who confirm that the touch keys is VERY responsive...(strange, i wasnt that wrong after all ).
also one more guy who confirm that the keypad is nice to use..... before you buy a c902 though, try several models and feel which keypad who feels best. (it can be slight different depending "how" the are build)
Oli, havnt seen any splendid pictures by you in a while.....cheers
edit...smart choice of SE to change that to matte texture. (havnt seen that before on c902)...i have the glossy one
still, i havnt got any scratches or problems with dust...maybe because i use one of this (in my pocket)..
the best part is that this ipod sock fits c902 like a glow
(and yeh, i use the green one for the moment
