Yeah,me too Another nail in the coffin. Lets see how many more will take to close it for good Ericsson had enough for a while now and, for a change, Sony's legs are 'giving in' too - so, no more help from them either. I think, now is only a matter of time before the inevitable happens. 2010 3Q is my guess Let's hear other opinions and see who is the closest when it happens

Your guess is pretty realistic, if you ask me. If I were to guess i'd say Q2, 2010

Not for some time yet.

On balance, despite the last three quarters, SE has still made more money than it has lost so the balance sheet overall is still healthy.

So those waiting to dance on the grave will have a long wait yet.

I agree with your entire comment up to the words 'without any bugs'. Seriously, with SE's financial constrains and history when it comes to investing in the testing of devices prior to release, not even my grandmother will believe that . . . and trust me,she was a believer

The thing is - they want MONEY And exactly that is what SE has run out of ! ! ! Ericsson have made it pretty clear: They want their $100 million ! (by the end of each and every first quarter) Everyone keeps quiet about all this financial mess, but the end of the quarter is coming and is coming fast. It will be interesting to see how all this will turn out In the past Sony used to help SE financialy, but this time around . . . sony themself are in dire need of help. Securing a loan somewhere als will be just as difficult ! Put it simply, SE is in no position to afford any negative quarters

Of coarse they want money - that's what business is......
But they forgot there is competition.

And attitude of "Do not bother us with firmware upgrades, we are busy with new models!" kind, and when these new models come to the market and all we, customers, see they are just the same hardware as 2 years ago packed in a new case......

This is a bitter story.
