Try to take pictures with lower rezolution.

Change resolution or simply re-save them as jpeg

I tryed taking pictures with VGA resolution, and yes , it worked. What is this problem then ? How to fix it ?

I think he has problem with his memory stick. Borrow 1 memory stick from your friend and take some pictures. If the problem stops happening, you just need to buy new memory stick. There are so many faked and illegal memory sticks nowsaday.

Yes, worst part is that I bought it off ebay and didnt check the first time, so I cannot complain now...

Is this happening with new pictures you are taking or pictures that you already have? It could be the memory card is corrupted.
