of course you need a DNLA device to stream your pics to.
So yes you need a DNLA device or a TV with built in wifi (new sony lcds have this).
Thank you very much.
Would have been great for someone else to have said this (if they actually knew) without stabbing in the dark and getting wrong and making this thread longer than necessary.

Go to the following website to find heaps of DLNA compatible equipment
http://www.dlna.org/products/
It does not necessarily have to go over WiFi, another option is Ethernet as not everything has WiFi or Ethernet (they usually have one or the other)
There are new BRAVIA TV's that are DLNA compatible via an Ethernet cable (they can only stream picture and music though)
I have a PS3 which has both Ethernet and WiFi and I use this to stream music from my computer (but it can handle videos and pictures as well), it should be compatible with your phone. Depending on how much your spending and what else you want it to do this could be a great choice |

I think that theres some dvd players that have DLNA. Your best bet is to go to a local electronics/appliances store and have a look for the DLNA logo.

yeah g - please read above post!!
surely if dlna is as popular as they say there should be a standard - affordable router type device (like this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/DMA-1[....]tronics&qid=1231670408&sr=1-2) but afordable??
i am not looking to purchase a ps3, dvd player, new tv or anything like that.....I WANT A DEVICE THAT SITS IN BETWEEN THESE DEVICES! |

you could buy the tv out cable,£19.99 or cheaper.
i think i read about a module that plugs into the back of your tv to stream content but cant remember where and cant find any reference to it.
