50MPS! I can get only get 2MPS from virgin media were i live! pile of crap!

i get nearly 20mb for 37 quid which is already pricey, nevermind the ridiculous 51 pounds. In HK, we'd expect to pay ~20 max for the same service.

Makes me feel lucky i live close to the exchange, i get 20mb ADSL for £18pm. £37 is very pricey indeed

my mate im Arizona gets 6 down and 5 up for the equivalent of 15 quid a month, no throttling either thats Virgins biggest problem in my eyes

Yeah i cant understand the throttling on FO lines... thought they were supposed to be more efficient? I always associated throttling with the old copper lines due to the technology

Expensive, throttling, bittorrent cutting.. seriously f**k them!

On Be getting 16meg down 2meg up for £23pm no limits.
Also Be are reported to be experimenting with dual line adsl, double the rates!

Still no limits!

Also it's a monthly contract and we have our phoneline with DST (directsavetelecom) which are cheaper than BT in every way, have a UK call centre, cost £9.99pm line rental and ALSO on a monthly contract!

Excuse my language but f%*K virgin, they are the worse thing that's happened to Fibre Optic. We should all have FO from BT already and have a minimum 100mbit up/down for the price of a beer!
