Thank you ALL for taking the trouble to Impart your knowledge to me. It was a big help. As texting is my big thing, I will now get a W980. I dont like flip phones, but the keypad, although not looking good, is perfect for texting. I can text with my thumb, rather than my thumb NAIL.

pffh. Write email and use IM instead - and get the m600 (or the p1 if you think you care about the ram, and Opera9 and so on) with the neat keyboard. |

I agree that if you text a lot then dump phones are quicker and better designed for that function.
@Zed, you are allowed to be wrong just once 
The dump files created on my P1i are kept in one of the "private" directories on C. I just deleted a heap of them the other day!
