As The_EyE mentioned earlier, the Nokia MMS is really lousy. The SonyEricsson implementation is lightyears ahead.

hahah they're called gulab jamuns

Gulab means Rose, but the jamuns contain no known Rose related extract or anything!

From nature back to technology, another thing in India is that Nokias have a high resale value. An unlocked T68i will cost me approximately US$300, and the next day if I go and try to sell it back to them, they won't give me more than $190 for it. Thats under 66% of the original price. A nokia sells for almost 80%-90% depending on the condition and warranty and all that.

I plan to follow a three or at max six month upgrade cycle with my phones - sell them while I can and get newer phone. If I want to save money, I'll stick to Nokias. I'm eyeing the 7210/6610 right now, later upgrading to a 7250. The camera is so nicely integrated into the phone on that one ... ooo

And CHICKS WILL DIG IT CUZ ITS A NOKIA!

Well.. to the person who liked java som much... You can not use it to make your phone show date on the screensaver... The 7210 does not work like windows. you can not have java programs running in the background. The java program must be run to have any sort of affect on the phone. Don't get me wrong.. I'm all for java. But it's not usable for much more than games and simple applications like currency converters and the like.
If you want a phone you can make programs for the way you do you'll need the 7650 or the p800(would be my choice).
Why? because they use symbian. so you can use symbian applications.
Plus the fact that 7210 has a f**ked up keyboard, cheap build quality, an insane error rate, bad plyphonic ringers(only 4 simultaneous sounds) of course this is better than the t68is beeping but it's still bad.
You have to pay for everything(java applets, ringtones, backgrounds and the like) the standard nokia way(drove me insane when I had my 3510, I could never get hold of poly ringers which are sp-midi and not standard midi like se and others use).
not too mention the horridly outdated menu system.
The radio is more of a subjective thing. I never listen to radio so I won't miss it. Not to mention that you can buy an addon radio for se phones. And an mp3 player.

@Mattias You wrote [QUOTE]The T68 is released a year a go, not two year ago, and its get usable for a half a year a go [QUOTE]

The T68 was released in September/October 2001 and it was highly usable at the time of release.

I don't know about those two phones, forgive me if I am off topic. But comparing the price/performance ratio, I think the T300 is way better off than any of them. With a better price, the T300 has a MCA-25 cam, and the same functions than T68i (no BT and less memory but added polyphonic ringtones).

7210 is just a 8310 with color, no big deal; besides, nokia phones never change and they tend to look the same.

I was just one step away from swapping my T68i for a 7210. Probably the only reason I have this phone is that I have a data cable that works (this 7210 guy got a data cable that didnt work, so he had to return it), and that my phone has animated gif screensavers

Till they make a complete programmable phone about the size of a T68i or 7210, I think I have myself a keeper.

the only real advantage the 7210 has it the color depth and the speed... but otherwise, the T68i beats its ass hands down. the T68i's features set the standard that all phones should follow.
