This were a baaaad idea for a thread. You just know what it'll turn out like.
And I'm sure memory cards will replace discs of all formats in the next 5-6 years, as manufacturing costs go further and further down and size becomes a bigger and bigger issue in the digital home.

ive had, since its launch, 4 360s. All went tits up..ive had the ps3 since launch...and its working with no problems..so, for reliability, and a machine without a brick power pack, you'd have to go for the ps3. I really like it as a multimedia centre..which reminds me. . Is the matrix trilogy blu ray available yet? |

Which one has more online gamers?
I went for the xbox for the price and the online gaming. Though I wasnt happy when I realised that I've only been sold half a set. Had to fork out for a new network cable (the 1 metre one is a dumb idea) and play and charge kit for the wireless controller. A proper network cable or built in wifi and a play charge kit should have come as standard and maybe a hdmi.
The ps3 is a better machine for the blu-ray and compatibilty like with bluetooth headsets but overall Im loving the 360, especially online. I've also noticed that 360 games tend to be cheaper or more likely on offer, I recently bought fifa 09 for £20!!
After the £160 for console

It already has better games such as LBP and MGS4, the thing is that most games are multi-platform and hence made on a par because developers won't go to the cost of making two games to different levels. However a trend which has started and may become more common is development on the PS3 and then the removal of features for the 360 version. This happened with Quake Wars Enemy Territory with the 360 version having less scenery detail (covered by more cloud) and the in vehicle view removed.
