Where does it say on the Status Info Menu that im connected??

AFAIK, it's the little green satellites. If there are any green ones then you are connected.

No, on the second tab, if it says connected and has a signal bar, then you are connected (and the signal bar will show you the strength of the connection)

So, in order to use amazeGPS, I first have to connect via Location services menu, wait until it says "Connected", minimize it, and then run the app?

Maybe, I do because there is no way of knowing when you actually get connected in some applications

Took a car journey the other day and only seemed to get 1 green bar of connection to the satalite.
It connected fast, but didn't seem to keep up with us very well, using Wayfinder that is preinstalled. Altho it told me where to turn in enough time, it was always a good 2-400 yards behind, which could have caused more problems had my girlfriend not been watching the screen for the turns.
Anyone else found this? |

Yes I find that the gps seems to have a lot of lag, but that has since dissapeared in the newest firmware

no, those delays have not dissapeared... im using the latest!
Very slow and unstable

No you don't. The phone will start to connect whenever you run an application requiring location services. |

latest fw and sensitivy GPS is poor. is there any way to increase sensitivity? (patch? ) |
