i saw on some p990 the status bar was it the bottom and my friend told me so too after i post this question about moving status bar. he never said anything about the sides tho

Honestly, and after using the P910i for over 3 years I think that was a stupid decision to place the bar at the top. Totally uncomfortable to use!

It doesn't matter where they put it. It's very nice like this.I also used P910i but I find nothing out of the ordinary.

I wanted the statusbar at the bottom when i first got the phone just because i was bored and made it look like windows but it actually dont matter where it is you tend not to need it that much on the p1i,

Well P1 running on latest firmware is pretty bug free... It works awesome. Don't know what you expect from the phone to do?

Yes as I said, P1 running on old firmware may have bugs (haven't tried old ones I bought mine recently) but on latest firmware it is 99% bug free. Some minor bugs, but won't affect phone's usability at all. It's great.

I restart it once a day to refresh ram. No need though but I do it.. It has about 10MB more free RAM when I restart it after a day of usage.

i opened my friend p990 to clean the fast port also the touch plastic was stuck onto the screen therefore tapping the screen you could only get number 7 or *.

there was a black rubber on the screen i guess its suppose to protect the screen from cracking or something anyway i tore it off my mistake since also i took the touch plastic from off the screen since it was stuck on the screen

after all that experimenting the touch screen has no more sentivity

what did i do wrong? is it replaceable.....

Got the same, but it is now another picture naming after I changed the camera driver. Now pics are named Picture001, Picture002 instead of DSC0001 and etc...
