Not meaning to hijack the topic, but what sort of timescale can a toner cartridge (colour + B&W) go on for without use?

Well I have bit the bullet and bought the Samsung CLP 315, and got a lead from argos for £2.87.

My inkjet's a pain in the arse and going laser does seem to make a fair bit of sense...
