have no experience with Ubuntu Linux, but from what I've read in some of the user comments, Ubuntu Mobile only supports Intel processors. Others are saying that a support for ARM processors can be enabled via modifications in the kernel of the os, but that sounds very unlikely to me.
And considering the fact that the memory of a P990 is even insufficient for its own os (as soon as average to heavy multitasking is required), running Linux on it is nothing but wishful thinking imo. |

You are right. It will have to be compiled for an Arm processor. The memory may be enough, I know that without the graphical GUI Linux can work on 64 MB PCs, but overall it does seem like a very long shot.

Yes, I'm skeptical for the same reasons too. But pretty impressive, did you see how fast that thing flew? And now that we're on the subject, since it is a bit far fetched to replace hw components, is possible to overclock them?
