So if i do change to " Infrastrukture" my g900 does not even connect to the router ! It says connection failed !


f**k this Wlan drives me crazy !

But maybe only for wireless access.

If you have activated the firewall + its own mac filtering, you will have to enter the mac address of your phone in the mac filtering table of your firewall settings separately.
Otherwise you'll be able to connect but activity will not be permitted.

Only the noises of the case from the g900 are a bit annoying !

Hi guy,

I have a problem to use my sony ericsson p1i Wlan.

My problem is, I get connecting to the Wlan but when I try to open the web page, it fall and display 'could not locate remote server'...

please any one help me.

Try disabling "power saving" option in the internet account's settings.

my problem is at WLAN icon that appear connected.but when i use internet menu to browsing the internet than it will appear 'could not locate remote server'

but if im using gprs instead of WLAN than i can online easily...how?is setting problem?or my hp got problem?can anyone help....?

hi ardzuna,

Could u guide me step by step and what is the first thing i must do to fix my g900 WLAN problem..i could not understand the step in that article..please...

i love so much this phone..but if my WLAN still does not work, it make me crazy...i have try many time to browse the internet but it still appear 'could not locate remote server' although the WLAN icon is connected with the wifi signal..it make me feel realy in bad mood because when i can scan for the wireless network it can detect the wireless signal but when it connected i can't browse the internet.. so sad..mmm..

Instead of i use the WLAN for browsing the internet, i can easily online by using gprs which i have to pay for it..i dun want to pay,i want to surf the internet freely..help me please...i realy need so much ur help pal...TQ
