Have you tried making a call with the phone away from your face? (eg with a bluetooth headset, or even just on handsfree mode). I know mine gets quite warm against my head, but not at all when i use it with a headset.

Don't forget that when you use it, it's not just against your head, it's between your head and your hand. If you held your hand against your face for 5 mins it'd prob get pretty warm pretty quickly...

I think as someone else said, with this phone the metal case means that it feels warmer than it would if it were plastic, as plastic is poor at conducting heat and metal is good at it.

Either that, or your phone's busted. If you can sucessfully fry an egg on it then take it to your local SE centre. As far as i know, frying an egg on them is the official way to test if it's getting too hot anyway...

I think this would be an advantage during winter LOL

but srsly there might be something wrong with it, i feel like my battery dies fast too .. maybe that's just because I play with it a bit more then usually
since it's still new to me

Well it's normal the battery to drain faster if you are playing a lot with your phone... For example my P1 battery lasts only 1 day if I play with it. In normal use (average calls, and some sms texting) it lasts about 3 days.
