i think sony ericsson phones are overpriced for the features they include...the RRP for SE phones when they come out is ridiculously high considering how most of the phones in the whole SE range pretty much have the same features and not much new stuff.

as for cybershot phones, i think the quality of the camera has gone down since cybershot range was first released =/ nokia now with its carl zeiss lenses>all (btw strange that sony digital cameras and video cameras use carl zeiss lenses but then for the phones nokia has it :S)
6 master resets, a debrand/reflash, and my w910 FINALLY seems to be stable...for now

So what.

What do you mean so what?

If you buy a cyber-shot you expect a Sony camera not samsung.

How would you feel if you bought Ferrari and found out it has a Fiat engine?

You didn't expect the quality from a real cyber-shot camera, did you?

That is called marketing

yep! i didn't...

It's funny how some of you defend mediocrity in premium priced devices. I'll tell you straight up that SE design and UI is the only thing that's got me hanging by a thread, or I would've left them in their complacency and self-worship by now. If the majority says SE can slap Cybershot and Walkman brands on their phones without going that extra mile to make it as deserving as they could to dedicated devices' reputation (ie by putting sound chips for Walkman and proper lenses for Cybershot like other manufacturers are doing now), then that thin thread might just snap and I'd be one of those to join the exodus out of SE.

I really thought "Samsung" was a typo. We'll see if it's going to affect their sales.
