The Question is:
why does SE call this phone a Cyber shot ?
what the hell ?!?!
it has samsung's lens and samsung's chipset !!
they should call it anything but cyber-shot !! it has NOTHING to do with cyber-shot
they must call it samsung-shot ... bla bla bla-shot ... shit-shot
The answer is:
SE is fooling around with us
they call anything cyber-shot because that name has a powerful marketing such as their cameras.
also SE can't afford money to get camera's and chipsets from SONY after they dumped the CCD and now they are dumping SONY's lens and chipsets
We shouldn't buy any SE products any more untill they respect us and make good phones with good prices (enough making toys with high prices)
my next phone will be anything but Nokia and SE

Don't buy there new cybershots simple, then when se realise they arent selling then maybe there do something about it. |

Well i seriously think most other phone brands are over taking SonyEricsson in camera quality stakes and i dont think Cyber Shot means anything anyway. |

What sony ericsson refers to cybershot is nothing but user interface. They screwed the picture quality, but i reckon for SE is all about interface. W760 camera interface like shit. Look at those walkman phones, they all have cool interface, but the sonic experience sux, except for W980 hehe. read the review in gsmarena and you'll know what i mean |

Bad analogy. All Ferrari F1 racecars are powered by FIAT.
I buy SE because of the User Interface. The camera, media player and other features are a bonus.

I agree.. it really means nothing! CyberShot and Walkman branding is all about MARKETING! Don't expect something good will come out.
