With the N96 in sight, the price of the N95 is dropping considerably, at least in my country .

Agree with this... As my budget don't allows me that phone too hahaha ... Anyway, it's price is very high...

P.S. When we are at photo quality, I like the K800/810 more than the N95 just because of the camera drivers... At least they are changeable so you can make your camera suit your needs

I recently bought the Nokia N82 (my first Nokia ever) because of the same thing: Wanting a better camera than K850 can offer, and not settling for a K800/K810 (despite we agree that it's awesome).

Nothing beats the N82/N95 when it comes to the camera or video-recording abilities. On that area the N82 is simply awesome.

However, I can NOT recommend a Sony Ericsson user getting a N82. I would recommend getting a small camera instead. Here's why:

I want more than just a good camera. I also want to keep the text-facilities, sms stuff and such. But the N82 simply sucks at SMS, partly because of the small keys and partly because there's no smileys. You can get smileys by buying A-SMS, but then all Sent SMS's only shows the number you sent to - not the name of the person you sent to. Further more you see no date or time in the list of SMS's, neither in Incoming or Sent folder.
A solution for the small keys could be to look at the Nokia 6220 Classic instead. It's like a N82, except it has better buttons, but no wlan.
Just keep in mind that you also do have to get used to a bit different T9 input method.

I'd also like to play Java games still, which N82 does load fine in about 40% of the cases. But for some insane reason Nokia has decided to put the sound in Java games on the same "channel" as "Warning sounds". In short, that means you can't turn down volume in Java games. You can only choose between REALLY LOUD or no sound at all. That's a disaster.

I also think the battery-time of the N82 is way too short. I have to charge my N82 daily. It does only take 1-2 hours to charge it though. It would help if it would charge when it's connected to the computer via USB, but it doesn't.
And the Media player could load a bit faster, but I can learn to live with that. The included headset is really bad, and doesn't give good reception for the radio compared to my W800. I've ordered another headset (HS-44), but haven't received it yet.

There are other flaws as well, but they can mostly be fixed by installing some application. And even the menu-system keys can be remapped to work a lot like you're used to in your Sony Ericsson phones.

But unless the camera is really really important to you, and you don't want to buy a small camera, and you don't care about Java games and SMS capabilities, I wouldn't recommend the N82 for an experienced Sony Ericsson user.

If you don't care much about Java games, SMS stuff and battery, then go for it. Speed is generally fine (especially for a Symbian device), and the GPS stuff + Sportstracker is fun.

Tnx Mr. Lu for your explain...

My opinion N82 is a very good cameraphone, i dont have problem with small keyboard, i dont wanna play games with N82, i dont use smiles on my SMS (this give more caracteres of message), i like so much him navigator, big display with million colors, GPS system (using Nokia Maps 2.0 is perfert).

About battery, with me i can use the phone for three days.

Sound, for me is good.

headphone inclused isnt good (i not used yet), i agree about this.

I dont wanna buy a small camera, because i dont have pacient to transport all time with me.

So,this phone is perfect for me.

I agree with you guys! N82 is a really better price/quality choice than the N95. But Marly got a point too : N96 is coming so the N95 will be at discount soon or later!
