Can you judge people from how they are on the internet? |

I think you actualy have to meet some one in person to decide if they are good people or not. Like some one else said, you can act more aggresive online because you know you can't be harmed. That explains why many people act like complete pri*ks online. They think they can have a laugh so they act like idiots online, when in real life they could be decent people. |

i think ppl r probably different, but it's tricky to tell if u don't meet a person in real life...
the forum is useful cos u mix with ppl from many walks of life...

I think mostly people's online persona is accurate, but may only be a small part of their actual persona. We only reveal very narrow band of who we are in total online. There is so much about our personalities that can't be judged from our online behaviour.
So I think most of us are being ourselves on the internet, but if we judge a person only on how they appear on the internet then we are not judging the whole person.

Seeing here on Esato, how people sometimes react, when someone has a different opinion about a phone they like (or dislike), I think, they'd better get a life and I can only hope (for their friends and relatives), that they're less agressive in real life.
